The San Diego Black Artist Collective celebrates Black Freedom with a Juneteenth storytime series with the San Diego Public Library! Join engaging BAC storytellers reading some of your favorite children’s books. Today Milena (Sellers) Philips will be reading her book, Always Fly Away at the San Diego Central Library.  

No registration required. Tune into the SDPL Virtual Hub at 10 a.m. to watch!


Milena (Sellers) Phillips is honored to be a part of the “Juneteenth at the Library” series. She is the cofounder and Executive Director of the Jonathan Sellers and Charlie Keever Foundation established in memory of her son to promote the safety and well-being of children. Milena is an award-winning actress, activist, philanthropist and co-author of the children’s book, Always Fly Away, A Children’s Safety Book available on Amazon.
