THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. Please join us for next month's local author talk on April 9th.
The San Diego Central Library and The Friends of the Central Library are proud to invite you to join in welcoming Kathryn Cloward as she presents her new book, Father Joe: Life Stories of a Hustler Priest. Written on his behalf by native San Diegan and award-winning writer Kathryn Cloward, Father Joe approved every word in the book, which he proudly publicized as much as he could.
Shared as a collection of 74 stories starting from his childhood in the Bronx, New York to living the last few decades of his life in a simple, humble home across from Father Joe’s Villages in downtown San Diego, the book reveals the humor and heart of a man who did his best to fulfill God’s call on his life in service to others. Always a wheeler and dealer, you’ll come to understand that “hustler” suited Father Joe well and he wouldn’t have had it any other way. FatherJoeHustlerPriest.com
