Welcome to Code, Create & Explore: Python, Artificial Intelligence, Art, Games and More! For upper elementary and middle school students interested in exploring Computer Science through hands-on learning in areas like basic Python coding, game development, AI concepts, and creative coding.

In this session, discover how to create your own video game bot in Python! We will explore how to command the bot to execute random movements, as well as calculated movements based on the players actions. Students will be challenged with having the opportunity to design their own game, implementing everything they learn. This class is beginner friendly, with no experience required to sign up! If possible, please consider bringing your own computer (with access to a google account) as it will be easier for students to navigate websites we will use to code during the class.

About the presenters:

The Code, Create, & Explore team is made up of passionate high school students from various STEM clubs at Canyon Crest Academy. We aim to introduce middle schoolers to computer science through fun activities in coding, AI, game development, and more. Our goal is to spark curiosity and build skills, inspiring a passion for learning that students can carry into any future path.
