OUR OCTOBER THEME IS:
SPORTS ON COINS.
Football season is underway and the World Series is right around the corner.
Qualifying coins will be any Olympic commemorative and coins depicting athletes, an athletic venue, or a sport itself. Examples here might include the Jackie Robinson coins and World Cup Soccer Coins. Perhaps someone will bring a baseball Hall of Fame dollar with its concave and convex fields. Let's see what you have, sports fans!
Did you mark October 29th on your calendar? That's the date of the Heartland Coin Club Coin Show and CSNA Symposium at the Guardian Angel’s Church in Santee. This is a special event you don't want to miss.
As always, our thanks go to Debby Montisano for supplying us with her home baked tasty treats, and Andrew Carmen for providing that good quality coffee to help wash the treats down and keep us awake for the drive home. We look forward to seeing you and your treasures at the next meeting of the Coineers Coin Club, Tuesday October 11th at 6 o’clock.
