Event Details

Zoey Jones will perform a fun piano and voice concert of popular hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

She received her Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education at San Diego State University with Magna Cum Laude status in 2020. She has experience playing in a wide variety of bands, such as jazz, pop, rock, choral, classical, and Latin groups. Her dance bands have performed all over California and even at some international events. She is currently training to be a player in San Diego’s downtown dueling piano bar, The Shout! House. She has been the piano accompanist for SDSU’s three choirs and graduate conducting students, Monroe Clark Middle School’s music programs, and the Summit UU Fellowship church choir. Zoey is a piano faculty member at Villa Musica. Her rich experience in different genres is reflected in her teaching by expanding the student’s playing ability in multiple styles.

This concert is free to attend thanks to the generous support of the Friends of the Mission Hills-Hillcrest/Knox Branch Library.
