During September we'll show films to celebrate both Latinx Heritage Month and Banned Books Week (September 18-24). We'll conclude by screening Desperado, on Tuesday 9/27.
Desperado: El Mariachi, a former musician who now carries an arsenal in his guitar case, hunts down the drug dealer responsible for the death of his girlfriend. During his mission he meets a sexy bookstore owner. Starring: Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Joaquim de Almeida, Cheech Marin, Steve Buscemi. (1995, R, 104 min)
