Description of Event

Students ages 8-16 will engage in an exciting, hands-on robotics program to help them prepare to take part in First Lego League (FLL) or First Tech Challenge (FTC).

Join the knitting and crochet circle. Improve your skills in these traditional art forms.  Bring your project for social crafting!

Ages 0-5

Saturday is Stay and Play in Kensington Park. Bring a blanket to sit on and get ready for music, toys, and bubbles! Recommended for ages 1-5. Older siblings are welcome to join in on the fun!   

Enjoy a multicultural book and related craft focused on themes of diversity and inclusion, geared for kids ages 3-6 and their families.   

Join us every Saturday from 10am-noon for Lego and Rokenbok Club! Patrons will be able to build at their own pace.

We will provide a lego square to build on and patrons can continue to build on it week after week. 

Come bring your little ones for a Spanish book reading with dancing! This program is recommended for toddlers, preschoolers and early elementary school-age children.

Come learn some simple signs and songs at this fun weekly event!

Learn how to bring pollinators into your garden through plant choices and gardening practices. After the class, be sure to visit our seed library to put what you learned into practice!

Join this drop-in knitting group where knitters of all skill levels meet and knit. Bring your work in progress and share in the knitting community.

The Black Queer Human Book Experience is a groundbreaking initiative rooted in the spirit of the Human Library, where individuals serve as "books" to share their personal stories, experiences, and perspectives.

In this “mysterious” program, students use chemistry, physics and observation skills to piece together evidence and crack the case.

In this workshop, you will learn the basics of embroidery through creating small patches that can easily be incorporated onto clothing or bags, or appreciated as textile drawing. 

This engaging program will immerse children in the joys of learning through play while nurturing critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

San Diego Korean Pungmul Institute will be here to perform. Pungmul is a Korean folk music tradition that includes drumming, dancing and singing. Join us for an amazing dance performance!
