Come and buy some books from the San Carlos Friends of the Library (SCFOL)!  We have hardbacks, paperbacks, books on CD, children’s books, and more!  Funds help the San Carlos Branch Library purchase books, programs, and equipment.

Calling all Padawans! Celebrate Star Wars Day in the Children's Room at the Central Library.  Enjoy our array of paper crafts, a scavenger hunt, and other activities!

Join us for Star Wars Day at the Central IDEA Lab! Drop-in any time between 10 AM - 2 PM to celebrate with various maker activities. All ages welcome. While supplies last.

FREE writing workshops--Saturdays, April 20 through May 11--are open to writers age 16+ for participants with any experience level and working in any genre.

Saturday is story time in Kensington Park. Bring a blanket to sit on and get ready for stories, songs, and bubbles! Recommended for ages 1-5. Older siblings are welcome to join in on the fun!

These Storytimes, good for kids ages 4 to 6, are fun, kinetic, and humorous experiences!  I make it a point not just to read books, but to perform them as well!

Join us every Saturday from 10am-noon for Lego and Rokenbok Club! Patrons will be able to build at their own pace.

We will provide a lego square to build on and patrons can continue to build on it week after week. 

Visit the library on Saturday and create a terrific craft. All materials provided. From 11:00-2:00. Bring a friend. 5th grade and younger. We look forward to seeing you.

To prevent injuries, reduce fall risks, and maximize independence at home, it’s important for seniors to incorporate home safety tips and follow a home safety checklist.

Come join us for a big screen presentation of Star Wars: A New Hope, and discover or revisit where the Star Wars story began.

This interactive presentation covers essential skills for potential or experienced bike commuters.

Take an out-of-this-world journey inside the portable planetarium! Explore the night sky, visit constellations and galaxies, and learn about our solar system. This program includes special effects, such as lasers and music. 

Do you have extra plants, succulents, cuttings, seeds, fruits, vegetables, pots, or other items? Or do you need some? Bring what you can, and take what you need!

Bring your plant cuttings, seedlings, surplus harvest or plants that need a new home to swap with other gardeners.

Come in for a free comic book and a Star Wars craft! We will have some special Star Wars guests come in for a visit! Hope to see you here!

The Winecreek Ensemble is a group of volunteer hobby musicians whose mission is dedicated to transforming orchestral musical works into intimate performances
