A Memoir of Home, War and Finding Refuge: Biruta's Story
Join us for a heartwarming afternoon just in time for Mother’s Day. First-generation American, Lilita Zvejnieks Hardes, presents a loving tribute to her mother in this compelling, well-researched memoir about her journey as a young Latvian war refugee during WWII. Fleeing Latvia, Biruta's path takes her through Nazi-occupied Germany as she searches to find peace, love and a place to call home.
Zoom link will be posted and emailed to registered guests within 36 hours of the event.
