The editors of The Complete Writings of Kate Sessions in California Garden, New Edition will discuss the literary contributions local florist, nursery owner and horticulturist Kate Sessions published in California Garden over a span of four decades.

The Spirit of Chicano Park/ El espíritu del Parque Chicano by former educator, local activist and community leader Beatrice Zamora will discuss the women behind the movement in Barrio Logan that helped to establish and maintain “Chicano Park.”
