You are cordially invited to the San Diego Independent Scholars Lecture at the North University Community Library 8820 Judicial Drive.

This month features: Howard H. Feldman, MDCM FRCP(C)

Dr. Feldman is professor of neurosciences at the University of California, San Diego. He was appointed director of the Alzheimer’s Disease Cooperative Study in April 2016. He received his MDCM degree from McGill University in Quebec, Canada in 1978. He is board certified in Neurology focusing on the subspecialty care of dementia and neurodegenerative disorders. Dr. Feldman has contributed to discoveries and clinical research studies in aging, mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s disease, and frontotemporal dementia. More specifically, his research focuses on the epidemiology, natural history and experimental therapeutics of Alzheimer's disease and dementia using an approach that includes longitudinal observational cohort studies in clinical and population samples, disease modelling, clinical pathological correlative studies and clinical trials across the spectrum of preclinical to most severe dementia stages.
