“Does Objective Thinking Require Math Logic or Just Plain Logic”
Lecture by Tom Pham

At what age do people learn logic?

Today, if people learn logic, it is taught in college; symbolic logic is either upper-level math or philosophy or even a graduate-level course.

The old, traditional way of education used to group logic together with grammar and rhetoric--for the sake of teaching the children of wealthy merchants, aristocrats, politicians.

Recent readings of Aristotle's original Greek treatises about logic (bypassing Latinized interpretations) reignite the possibility that logic can once more be placed adjacent to grammar and rhetoric (and even Aristotelian math as well).
