Program Description

Event Details

Defensible Space refers to the area around a structure where vegetation and other combustible materials have been managed and reduced to create a buffer zone. This buffer zone is designed to slow the spread of wildfire and reduce the intensity of flames approaching the structure, thereby increasing the likelihood that firefighters can defend the structure successfully. During this seminar you will learn how to create a buffer zone and about scheduling a CAL FIRE Real Estate Defensible Space Inspection. Presented by Farima Tabrizi, Real Estate Broker Associate, GRI Seniors Home Specialist® Certified (SRES®).
