Week Calendar

This is a social group where you can practice your fiber craft in good company, showing off your latest projects, getting support, and make friends. All levels are welcome.

The Friends of the San Diego Public Library will be hosting its next book sale at the University Heights Branch Library at 4193 Park Blvd (at Howard Ave), San Diego 92103. Enter at the Sprouts parking lot entrance.

In this highly interactive, music-based storytime program, children have the opportunity to make music, learn beats, and dance and move to the sounds. All ages are welcome to attend.

Sensory play. Join us outside to play with our new sensory tables. Mud play, sand play, and more! Program takes place in the garden, past the patio. 

Parents, grandparents, and caregivers who have at least one child under 12 years old: learn how to teach your child early reading and writing skills.  FREE children's books to keep!

Volunteers are there to help guide you in your research.

This bilingual program is designed for preschool children to experience both English and German in a fun, engaging setting. During each session, we will read stories and sing in both languages.

Meet for a different book selection every third Tuesday of the month. Read the book Go Tell It on the Mountain by James Baldwin and then join a lively book discussion here at Balboa Branch Library.

Work on your flexibility, strength building and quiet your mind with functional movement practice. Participate at your own ability. Wear flexible clothing and bring any preferred yoga equipment.

Library for All: Hangout is a monthly program for adults with special needs to chat, color, play games or make puzzles. People of all abilities are welcome to participate in this event.
