This is a Storytime that supports cognitive development, social development and physical growth, language development, and sensory & motor development for your child incorporating playtime. Sensory Friendly.

Let's build, create, and play while we grow our little builders minds! Come play with Duplo Legos for preschool STEM learning. Caregiver participation required.

Join us for a monthly art class for homeschoolers ages 6 and up. We'll engage in various artforms including drawing and painting. Registration is required below.

Led by local artist, Hannah MurdocH, students will learn how to make a unique origami art project from recycled materials. Ages 18 & Up.

Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement. It is more than simply putting flowers in a container. It is a disciplined art form that breathes life into each composition, harmonizing the elements of nature and humanity.

Get crafty at the library every week! Each week there will be a unique craft that is fun for all ages. All supplies will be provided.

Bring your current project and crochet along with our library staff. Want to learn how to crochet? We'll supply the materials to teach you. Stuck on a project or have questions? We'll help you with it. Knitters are also welcome!

Join us on the Patio outside the children's room for arts and crafts after school every Wednesday at 2pm.

Activities are designed for school age children.  Young kids may require parent assistance.

Learn, play, and create with LEGOs!

Children can build with LEGOs and display their creations in the library.

Build a toy boat out of a folded paper plate. Then, give one end of the boat a little push and watch it rock back and forth! For ages 5 and up.

Cyanotype is a form of image making with light sensitive material.

In this workshop, participants can learn the basics of embroidery through creating small patches that can easily be incorporated onto clothing, bags, or appreciated as textile drawing.

During these workshops led by local nonprofit STITCHES, participants will be guided as they knit soap bags to donate to those in need!

Come build your creations while making new friends!  All Legos will be supplied by the Paradise Hills Branch Library.  Your creation may even be featured in our display case!

Crafting Schedule for the month of June are as follow:

Join us every Tuesday from 5-5:30pm for Create! At the Library, featuring a new craft each week. This program is for youth aged 5-11, that will develop fine motor skills and creativity. 

Make an awesome one-of-a-kind keychain for that special father figure in you life. Design and create a unique keychain using our Glowforge laser cutter.

Learn how to make Bath Bombs! Mix, mold, drop & fizz--combine a few simple ingredients to make your own custom bath bombs to help you relax and unwind.

Join us for another FUN Family Art Night workshop with Art Smarts... learning to draw Sea Turtle Honu. The Honu is a symbol of longevity, safety, and mana (spiritual energy) in Hawaiian culture and their presence brings good luck and peace.

Journal Jam at the Library is every first Monday of the month at 6:00pm! The first session will be on Monday, February 5th!
