Event Details

This Mindful Awareness lecture is an opportunity to learn what mindfulness is and it is not. We will explore the application of this ancient teaching to reduce stress, anxiety and suffering. The practice of mindfulness often leads to a sense of balance, connection and well-being.

Sofía has been teaching bilingual yoga, chair yoga, meditation and meditation for over 15 years to people of all ages and backgrounds including cancer patients, people with depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and underserved communities. Sofía is convinced that yoga, meditation and mindfulness are the best medicines, when practiced daily with love, care and commitment.
