During this class, students will learn about the difference between added sugars and naturally occurring sugars. You’ll become familiar with the maximum recommended daily intake of sugar and how it compares to the amount of sugar found in common food and drink. Students will also understand the side effects of being on a high sugar diet. Be self-reflective about your sugar intake, eating choices, and health implications associated with diets high in sugar.
