The Carmel Mountain Ranch Library welcomes local author Kate Allen Fox, who will read her new book "Winter Solstice Wish." Inspired by winter solstice bonfires built on a San Diego beach near the author's home, "Winter Solstice Wish" combines

A story time designed for toddlers, featuring stories, songs, rhymes, and finger plays.

Sensory play. Join us outside to play with our new sensory tables. Mud play, sand play, and more! Program takes place in the backside of our patio.

Welcome families to Stay and Play!

Join us in this dancing storytime that geared towards toddlers and their parents. Enjoy new and classic stories of all kinds and get ready to get all those wiggles out and dance away the jiggles and pent up energy!

Dance, sing, laugh, and enjoy engaging stories with Carrie The Librarian! This program is recommended for ages 2-5 but all ages are welcome at this fun weekly program. 

Join in as we read, sing, dance, and play at Toddler Storytime!  Come and build essential early literacy skills and foster a love of reading. Designed for children ages 1-3.

In this highly interactive, music-based storytime program, children have the opportunity to make music, learn beats, and dance and move to the sounds. All ages are welcome to attend.

We are providing activities for adults to choose from: board games, adult coloring, puzzles, etc.  Choose your activity and socialize with others.

Children and their caregivers are invited to enjoy simple stories, songs and community.  Reading practice helps young ones to develop school readiness skills and also encourages  perspective-taking, enhanced language ability, and critica

Join us for a lapsit storytime with board books, rhymes, songs, and fingerplays for pre-walkers. For ages 0-24 months.

Learn signs to use with your child! Signing fun with songs, stories, and finger plays as well as tips for using sign language as a preverbal communication tool with your little one.

Mind and Body Fitness is done mostly standing or in a chair. No mats required.
Space is limited to 25 people per class.

Be sure to get to the library a little early, this class fills up fast!

Recommended for toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary school age children, this simple dance program will feature popular kids tunes. Families, it's time to get your groove on!

Activities are designed for school age children.  Young kids may require parent assistance.

Join us for story-inspired stretches, music, and child-friendly props! We conclude by using our breath to transition from silly to calm. Please bring a mat or towel.
