Beginning October 7th, all San Diego Library branches will participate in the annual In-N-Out Burger "Cover to Cover Club" Reading Program for children ages 4 to 12, from Oct 7 - Nov 18.

Join us for a Japanese storytelling tradition called kamishibai. (Kami = paper; shibai = theatre).

Join us on the Taylor Greene to sing, dance, and move along to favorite kids songs.

Join Children’s Librarian Miss Julie for stories, songs, fingerplays, and lots of fun!  This program is designed for children ages 2-4.

In this highly interactive, music-based storytime program, children have the opportunity to play musical instruments, learn beats with rhythm sticks, and dance and move to the sounds. All ages are welcome to attend.

Presented by Write Out Loud San Diego, "StoryBox" is the American name given to the Japanese storytelling tradition called kamishibai.

Join us in the library's spacious community room where we can all safely space out for a Storytime with Miss Melissa or Miss Jennifer appropriate for preschoolers.

Join in as we read, sing, dance, and play at Toddler Storytime!  Come and build essential early literacy skills and foster a love of reading. Designed for children ages 1-3.

Join Ms. Carrie, on Zoom, Wednesday mornings for virtual stories, songs, and fun that foster early literacy skills.

We will pass out “tickets” right before storytime.

Dance, sing, laugh, and enjoy engaging stories with Carrie The Librarian! This program is recommended for ages 2-5 but all ages are welcome at this fun weekly program. 

Mind and Body Fitness is done mostly standing or in a chair. No mats required.
Space is limited to 25 people per class.

Join us for this presentation by Alzheimer's San Diego to learn about physical and cognitive changes, how to evaluate driver safety, local transportation resources, and tips for having difficult conversations about driving.

Ages 0-3

Join us for story time, healthy snacks, and play time geared for young children and their caregivers.  This special time is dedicated to early literacy, fine motor skills, and problem solving through play.

Toddler Story Time in Kensington Park will be held at 10:30am. There will be stories, songs, and bubbles! Join the fun!

Come join us every Tuesday at 11:30am for Music and Motion! This program is designed to introduce babies and toddlers to music, dance and instruments. We will learn new motor skills, shake our sillies out and sing at the top of our lungs.

Queendom is a program for Russian/ Kazakh speaking women in San Diego that meet regularly to learn and grow together to encourage and support each other to lean in and step outside our comfort zone. 

Free Digital Literacy Classes presented by the San Diego Futures Foundation and the SD Access 4 All Initiative. Our October series focuses on email. Classes are held every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
