Stop by our Bike Anywhere Day pit stop at the Mission Hills Library on Thursday May 16th from 7-10 a.m.

Book it to your library. Stop by our library on Bike Anywhere Day Pit stop for free snacks, resources, and more! We'll have Bike Pueblo joining us to provide free bike maintenance! 

 Bike to a pit stop for snacks, drinks, water, music, restrooms, bike tools for quick repairs, and a free Bike Anywhere Day t-shirt (while supplies last)! Pit stops will be open from 7 to 10 a.m., unless otherwise noted.

Join us in the library's spacious community room where we can all safely space out for a Storytime with Miss Melissa or Miss Jennifer appropriate for preschoolers.

Join us for "Sign-a-Story Circle Time" with Baby Sign Language Basics author, Monta Z. Briant. Parents learn how to use ASL signs for early communication with their babies through stories, songs, and other fun activities.

Join Ms. Camille and Ms. Melissa every Thursday at the OB Rec Center for storytime and free play for children 0 to 5 years old. Each week children will have the opportunity to explore and socialize and so will their caregivers!

Open to the public and are free of charge. Play variety board games.

Read along and sing for this fun interactive storytime. We will read picture books, move our bodies, act out stories, and sing fun songs and silly rhymes to build our skills with words and language. The storytime will be followed by a craft.

Saturday is story time in Kensington Park. Bring a blanket to sit on and get ready for stories, songs, and bubbles! Recommended for ages 1-5. Older siblings are welcome to join in on the fun!

Recommended for toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary-school age kids, this simple dance program will feature popular songs. Families, it’s time to get your groove on!

Learn how to weave with an expert textile artist from the San Diego Creative Weavers Guild!  This class is targeted to homeschooling youth ages 8+. No prior experience required, and all materials will be provided.

Free Digital Literacy Classes presented by the San Diego Futures Foundation and the SD Access 4 All Initiative. Our May series focuses on network safety. Classes are held every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with the following format:
