Before TV and comic books existed in Japan, there was Kamishibai, or paper theater. With a wooden box, illustrations, and a great narrator to tell the story, kiddos will be in for a treat! This special event is presented by Write Out Loud.

My Live Interactive Video Preschool/Kindergarten Storytimes, good for kids ages 4 to 6, are fun, kinetic, and humorous experiences!  I make it a point not just to read books, but to perform them as well!

Come join us for Toddler Happy Hour! The library  will open early, only to parents and caregivers with young children to come and meet their neighbors! Age-appropriate toys and games will be provided for the little ones to play with.

Let's kickoff 2025 and the Winter Reading Challenge with a special music concert for young children. Get ready for some incredible kids rock music with Ralph's World, perfect for a preschool crowd!

In this highly interactive, music-based storytime program, children have the opportunity to make music, learn beats, and dance and move to the sounds. All ages are welcome to attend.

The sessions are exactly the same. Ms. Joyce reads simple books, we sing songs, do our bouncy rhymes, fingerplays, shake our shakers, and have fun!

Dance, sing, laugh, and enjoy engaging stories with Carrie The Librarian! This program is recommended for ages 2-5 but all ages are welcome at this fun weekly program. 

Sensory play. Join us outside to play with our new sensory tables. Mud play, sand play, and more! Program takes place in the backside of our patio.

Library Craft for All is an art and crafts program for adults with special needs.  People of all abilities are welcome to participate in this event. Join us to make a beautiful snowflake art using water color paint and  cardstock paper.

Mind and Body Fitness is done mostly standing or in a chair. No mats required.
Space is limited to 25 people per class.

Be sure to get to the library a little early, this class fills up fast!

Each class includes breathing practices (pranayama), postures rooted in functional movement (asana), and relaxation (savasana). All movements and exercises aim to strengthen the body and mind. These classes are open to all ages, all levels.
